About Us
Lourdu Matha High School
is one of the valued institution offering best facilities and infrastructure. This school provides a safe and unlimited learning environment to its students. It is a pathway to students who want to become successful and good citizens of the society. It is a co-educational school located at Narayanapuram, Thallada, Khammam(dt), India. In 1962 the school had its humble beginning under the trees for all the nearby children motivating them to literacy.
The Institute of the Sisters of Charity of Sts.Bartolomea Capitanio and Vincenza Gerosa(SCCG) also known as the Sisters of Maria Bambina had its origin in Lovere, Italy. It was founded by a young girl of 26 named Bartolomea Capitanio in 1832. The school is named as Lourdu Matha High School because people of all faiths believe in Mother Mary and intercede to protect them from all harm and danger.

Through our imparting of education to the young growing children we teach them practically learning to know, learning to do, learning to live and learning to be, with the support of the following four main pillars of management, staff, students and parents.
Management
We the sisters through our joyful living & dedicated services to the poor students in our mission and in our dealings with the parents & staff will try to radiate Christ’s love, goodness & mercy to them.
Staff
• To upgrade the teaching skills of the staff we conduct seminars, based on various curricular topics in order to impart subject knowledge effectively to the students. • To help the teachers to be role models to their students who look up to them and help them to give their best both in academics and in life. • To share with the staff the Charism of our Institute and of our saints St.Bartholomea and St.Vincenza and to motivate them to Imbibe the qualities of our saints especially that of genuine love for God & to care for the needy neighbor.
Students
• Through various talks to bring the awareness in the students the dignity as the children of God. • Lay strong foundation through the curricular teaching of both theory and practical base learning in order to impart the learning to know, learning to do, learning to live and learning to be. • Conducting spiritual programs, catechism classes and through Moral Science classes and Mea group to motivate them to live morally upright and to develop genuine love, fellowship and service towards others like St.Bartolomea. • To conduct motivational seminars to empower and to encourage the students to work hard in their studies and to develop Intellectual and creative skills. • Through workshops & nature club activities to bring awareness for a clean & green society and to teach them to take care of nature around them. • Through counseling uplift the students who are facing various problems and help them to face it bravely.

• Through conducting of timely parent teachers meeting we encourage & teach the parents to be effective and caring parents towards their children through their dealings. • Through the motivational classes we help the parents to accompany their children to realize their potential capacities.
